Our studio is committed to the artistry of design, and a large part of our process involves collaborating with select artisans on premium manufacturing. Working with a network of fabricators provides us with the flexibility to work creatively with clients in developing original designs.
Yes. Much of our studio practice is designing original and bespoke pieces for specific interior projects. We work with a close network of exceptional artisans and fabricators who value quality and craftsmanship as much as we do. All abd furniture pieces are made-to-order and typically take 12 to 14 weeks for delivery once the order has been placed.

We know how valuable it is to see and touch materials before placing custom orders. Samples can be purchased directly through abd. If you decide to buy one or more furniture pieces, we will gladly refund any incurred sample costs. For details, please contact concierge@ashleybottendesign.com

Once an order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation.
Please ensure your shipping address is correct, as we cannot redirect goods once they are en route.
Orders will ship within 2 business days, and you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information. Please note that in some cases, your order may arrive in multiple shipments.
We accept Mastercard, VISA and American Express.

We ship within Canada and the United States. For International orders, please contact theshop@ashleybottendesign.com to connect with our team.
shipping costs
Shipping costs are per order based on weight. All of our orders ship using FedEx.
taxes
Sales tax will be charged on merchandise, where applicable. Taxes are calculated according to the shipping destination.
refunds
We ship products regularly and know that accidents do occur even with the best care given. When you receive our packages, please inspect your purchase immediately upon delivery. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us at concierge@ashleybottendesign.com within three days of receipt. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, we will work with you to find the best solution.
Some irregularities that are natural aspects of our products are not eligible for returns. Because everything we make is custom and handmade, slight differences are part of their beauty. Our warranty, therefore, does not cover:
- Patina, which develops naturally through oxidization and is part of the metal’s aging process.
- Dings, scratches or stains result from everyday wear and tear. Minor blemishes are inevitable and an innate part of organic materials.
- Damage from misusing cleaning products or leaving products outdoors. Please see your guidelines for proper care.
receiving a refund
A refund will be issued once we have received your returned items. Refunds do not include shipping or handling charges except for faulty or damaged items. Your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used for the initial transaction. It will be in the amount of the product price, less the return label fee if applicable.
Please note: Any duties paid for orders shipped to the US will not be refunded. Credit card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing times. This can vary greatly between credit card issuers.

You must ensure that the item is adequately packaged and insured at your option and cost. We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging or if the item is damaged or lost while being returned. Items damaged when we receive them will not be eligible for a refund.
Please note that refunds are issued in the currency in which the order was initially placed, regardless of the exchange rate.

late returns
Only items returned after 14 days of receipt are eligible for return.
exchanges
We do not accept exchanges.
We will accept cancellations for in-stock products if your items have yet to ship. Once an item has shipped, cancellation is not possible. Custom and special-order pieces cannot be cancelled.
wooden objects
Clean and remove stains using lemon juice or vinegar. Cutting boards should be left to dry in a flat position.
blackened-steel objects
Clean using a warm, damp cloth and mild detergent
copper objects
Make a simple cleaning paste of table salt diluted in a ¼ cup of lemon juice and rub over the surface using a soft cloth. Do not rub with too much abrasion, as copper is prone to scratching. Rinse with warm water and dry with a clean cloth.

Use a soft cloth to clean or dust and Simichrome to achieve a high polish
