This heart-shaped bowl is a tribute to Ashley’s lifetime love for hearts and the desire to give back to a foundation that is committed to helping fix tiny hearts and ensure children live happier, healthier lives. 30% of each heart bowl sold will go to the Labatt Family Heart Centre at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).

Abd invited artist Nancy Pearce to create a sweet vessel cast in bronze. To create its soft-edged profile, Nancy pinched the bowl out of clay preserving the traces of its making.

Cast by hand with poured bronze, this object is meant as art and is not food safe.
