Abd’s contemporary take on the classic cushioned bench seat is quiet at first, starting with polished brass legs replacing the more typically used dowelled wood. Tiny surface variations and imperfections on each solid metal leg reveal the artistry and handcraftsmanship that has gone into making them using sand-cast molding. The weight of metal adds another elemental layer of quality and a sense of timelessness that will outlast trends.
